What is Halal Nail Polish?

For many Muslim women, wearing nail polish has always been an issue. Muslims are required to pray five times a day, and prior to performing prayers they must perform “wudhu” (ablution) or washing up before praying.

Why Can't Regular Nail Polish be Used?

Because nail polish creates a barrier, water can’t reach the nail bed and therefore the nail polish must be removed first. This can be quite tedious if you’re doing it five times daily.

However, with the invention of Tuesday in Love water permeable nail polish, water can penetrate  through the nail polish down to the nail bed.

Unlike “breathable” nail polish, Tuesday in Love’s unique formula does not require any rubbing or additional pressure. And just like regular nail polish, you can remove it with nail polish remover.

Tuesday in Love is the only Halal nail polish certified by ISNA Canada for both ingredients AND functionality. And it’s cruelty free and child labor free.

Best of all proceeds from every sale are donated to charity, helping children around the world.
